We are open for wine tasting for groups of 6 or less. No appointment necessary. Last tasting begins at 4:00pm.

You are also welcome to visit our tasting room to purchase wine, or phone in an order and we will be happy to provide curbside pickup or ship.

Since 2004, our family and staff have dedicated themselves to making your experience at the Cooper Vineyards tasting room the best it can be. Because we are a boutique winery our tasting flight changes throughout the year so you can enjoy a new experience each time you arrive.

Amador County and Shenandoah Valley: Worth the Trip

Amador County first rose to prominence during the 1849 gold rush, but now people come to experience the region’s natural beauty, historic towns, and the wine. Amador County is home to the oldest Zinfandel vines in America, and Shenandoah Valley is gathering notoriety as the premier award-winning region for its Barbera and other notable wines.

Our Hours

We are open Thursday through Monday, from 11am to 4:30pm. Last tasting begins at 4.

Seating is first come first served. Reservations are not required.

Maximum group size is six.

The tasting room is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Directions

From Placerville: Follow Highway 49 south to Plymouth/Jackson. In Plymouth turn left (east) on Main Street / Shenandoah Road. After 1/2-mile, bear left to stay on Shenandoah Road. Continue 3 1/2 miles and turn right onto Shenandoah School Road.

From Sacramento: Follow Highway 16 (Jackson Road) east to Highway 49, following signs to Plymouth. In Plymouth, turn right (east) on Main Street/Shenandoah Road. After 1/2 mile, bear left to stay on Shenandoah Road. Continue 3 1/2 miles and turn right onto Shenandoah School Road.

From Stockton: Follow Highway 88 to the Highway 124/I-1 turn-off. From I-1 follow Highway 124 to Highway 16. Take Highway 16 east to Highway 49, following signs to Plymouth. In Plymouth turn right (east) on Main Street/Shenandoah Road. After 1/2 mile, bear left to stay on Shenandoah Road. Continue 3 1/2 miles and turn right onto Shenandoah School Road.
