Amador County and Shenandoah Valley: Worth the Trip

Amador County first rose to prominence during the 1849 gold rush, but now people come to experience the region’s natural beauty, historic towns, and the wine. Amador County is home to the oldest Zinfandel vines in America, and Shenandoah Valley is gathering notoriety as the premier award-winning region for its Barbera and other notable wines.
