This medium-bodied 2019 Zinfandel has a bit of pepper and a hint of sweetness on the pleasantly dry finish. This is a very classic style — fruity and lush, pairing best with rich and robust foods like grilled meats. But a really fun local gastronomic adventure might be Cooper’s 2019 Zinfandel with Pepperoni Pizza from Gold Dust Pizza in Sutter Creek. Yum!
