Cooper Ranch Red

$33

Silver– 2025 Calif. State Fair Wine Competition

Rev up the tractor! Our fifth version of Ranch Red is an outgoing blend of some of our most popular varietals. Zinfandel (25%) and special St. Peter’s Church Zinfandel (25%), Primitivo (25%), Alicante Bouschet (23%), with a splash of Petite Sirah (2%). Violet notes and lip-smacking cherry lead to woody and smoky depths with a spicy, dry finish. What more is there to say? Fire up the grill! Pair with BBQ ribs and burnt ends.

Barbera 2022

$36

Gold – 2025 Calif. State Fair Wine Competition
Gold – 2024 Foothill Wine Festival Competition
Silver – 2024 Orange County Fair Wine Competition
Silver – 2024 Amador County Fair

A beautiful traditional Italian wine, our 2022 Barbera has a nose that you’ll want to inhale for days. We call it “more-ish”! Aromas of caramel latte, whiffs of rich black licorice, molasses and cherry tobacco – rich, inviting and warm, reminding you of good times with good friends and good food. Cherry flavors repeat on the palate, along with whispers of orange zest and unsweetened cocoa. Such a memorable experience and a reminder of why Barbera, in Italy, is called “the people’s wine”.

Alicante Bouschet 2022

$33

Gold – 2024 Amador County Fair
Silver – 2025 Calif. State Fair Wine Competition

Beautiful, romantic and rare … Alicante Bouschet is that special. Carefully bred in Southern France in 1866 by Henri Bouschet, today’s varietal is still prized for its deep color, intense flavors and high yields. Our 2022 Alicante Bouschet is delicate on the nose – licorice, vanilla, dark berries and black pepper induce further exploration. Wonderfully juicy, sweet/tart flavors of cranberry, spice and coffee make you go “mmmmm”. This is a big wine, deep and complex, and would benefit from a moment of aeration. Enjoy with equally deep and complex foods … grilled or smoked meats are a great option.

Charbono 2023

$33

Silver– 2025 Calif. State Fair Wine Competition
Silver – 2025 Amador County Fair

If you love big, bold, dark red wine, Charbono is for you. A virtually unknown grape in the U.S., Charbono is known as Bonarda in Argentina where it is prolifically grown – second only to Malbec. One of our favorites, and always in short supply, our 2023 Charbono has masculine aromas of sandalwood, leather and blackberry. On the palate, more dark nuances in the guise of licorice, dark cherry and a subtle smokiness. Unexpected soft tannins belie the deep, rich color and flavors. Our Charbono is not just a wine, but a journey.

Primitivo Riserva 2021

$46

Silver – 2025 Amador County Fair

This wine doesn’t just make an entrance; it makes a statement! Staff comments: “I want to bathe in this.”; “We need to make a candle of this.”. Such a rich aroma … tantalizing fig and raspberry. And the flavor profile … bourbon vanilla, caramel, apple pie and baking spice. With a richness developed from 41 months of aging, our 2021 Primitivo Riserva is intoxicating, opulent and indulgent. The only pairing you will need will be exquisite Belgian chocolate …

Dicembre 2019

$38

Gold – 2023 Foothill Wine Festival Competition
Silver – 2024 Amador County Fair

Think Black Forest Cake! Rick, deep chocolate is the perfect backdrop for luxurious cherry. This late harvest Barbera desert wine is medium-bodied with a nice dry finish, and a symphony of flavors working in perfect harmony.

Grenache 2022

$30

February Wine Club
Silver – 2025 SF Chronicle Wine Competition

Take a moment to absorb the beautifully aromatic 2022 Grenache offering scents of cherry, vanilla, floral, dried herbs and a lovely woodsy note. Gliding across the tongue, the palate confirms the nose. This wine has no rough edges. Savor the smooth, mildly spicy finish and soft tannins with a delicious meal of Grilled Cedar Plank Salmon with Cherry Glaze.

Petite Sirah 2022

Visions of dark sugar plums will dance on your tongue. Our new limited release of Petite Sirah is a sensuous deep purple inky color with aromas of leather, freshly ground coffee, and hints of mulberry.
