Our 2020 version of this classic French sunshine-loving varietal is bursting with fruit from beginning to end! Honeydew, lemon-lime and pineapple on the nose invite you to explore its crisp acidity and refreshing citrus palate. Softly scented with wildflowers and muted caramel the lovely rosewood color ushers in flavors of pomegranate and Rainier cherry. This medium-bodied 2019 Zinfandel has a bit of pepper and a hint of sweetness on the pleasantly dry finish. This is a very classic style — fruity and lush, pairing best with rich and robust foods like grilled meats. But a really fun local gastronomic adventure might be Cooper’s 2019 Zinfandel with Pepperoni Pizza from Gold Dust Pizza in Sutter Creek. Yum!

A hint of coffee together with blackberry, leather and cinnamon entice further exploration of our 2018 Mourvèdre. Our winemaker, Mike Roser, has once again created a sumptuously rich, deep and spicy wine. Full-bodied with a big mouthwatering blackberry finish, Mourvèdre delivers! Very agreeable with food and begs to be savored with something rich and flavorful like Mustard-Herb Crusted Rack of Lamp. Scrumptious!

The premium version of our Famous and Fabulous Barbera, this 2019 Riserva has THE most exquisite nose! An undeniably unique combination of caramel, smoky, apple and strawberry aromas are the perfect prelude to the complex cherry, chocolate and warm spice palate. Prior to the Renaissance, Barbera was known in Italy as “the people’s wine.” Today, Cooper Vineyards’ Barbera can still be regarded as “the people’s wine” because the people just love it! A big cherry nose with hints of vanilla and warm spice draws you in to a full, luscious, dark-chocolaty and satisfying mouthfeel. The lingering finish will have you longing for the next succulent sip. A meal of Grilled Beef Tri-Tip with Chinese Five Spice and our 2019 Barbera is certain to stimulate and captivate the palate.

Beautifully balanced, warm, rich and creamy best describes our harmonious Rhone trio of Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier.
