Featured White and Rosé Wines

Roussanne 2019


Delicately sweet with undertones of honey, caramel and herbal tea, our 2019 Roussanne is complex and provocative. A creamy, rich mouthfeel heralds soft citrus flavors and butter brioche. Dry and full-bodied, this distinctive wine finishes with a whisper of white pepper and a surprisingly pleasant acidity. Roussanne will taste incredible with lobster or crap cakes and creamy cheeses such as Brie.

La Grande Viognier 2019



From the brink of extinction, the Viognier grape is enjoying a renaissance. Our 2019 La Grande Viognier is a beautiful expression of this delicately fragranced varietal. Aromas of ripe apricot, vanilla and stone fruit lead the way to creamy and buttered honey flavors with hints of tangerine and baking spice on the finish. Serving this complex wine at 50-55 degrees will enhance the layered aromatic characteristics and rich flavors. Give it a try with your favorite Pad Thai!

Having a party? This beautifully hued and fruit forward 100% Grenache Rosé will be your featured guest! The doorbell rings and the cork pops, introducing aromas of mango and melon echoed on the palate and joined by a festive strawberry effervescence. A juicy finish kissed by tangerine and cherry welcomes accompaniment with any number of food choices including charcuterie or caprese salad. We’ve coupled it with Baked Brie en Croûte with dried cranberries, pistachios and fresh rosemary for a colorful and elegant party pairing!

At Cooper’s, we’ve produced a Syrah that is pure gold from our modest but highly regarded vineyard. Our 2020 vintage nods to its heritage with beautiful aromas of Herbs de Provence, mocha and the fresh, woodsy smell of leather. A rich purple hue draws you in to exploe this medium bodied gem with well-rounded tannins and a lingering crème brûlée finish. Warm and wonderful, we suggest you enjoy this masterpiece with Grilled Sausages with Caramelized Peppers and Onions.

Considered to be the most American of grapes, and California’s pride and joy, Zinfandel has the unconquerable spirit of the early settlers. Our 2020 Zinfandel is adventurous, displaying fresh notes of berries, anise, vintage leather and cedar shavings on the nose. That no-nonsense spirit segues to the palate where dark berry and sweet tobacco flavors usher in a balancing and spicy finish. This high-spirited 2020 Zin would happily pair with the bold flavors of Eggplant Parmesan or Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagna.

Version 3.0 of our winemaker’s now-famous red table wine blend is here! This year’s Cooper Ranch Red (affectionately referred to as “the red tractor wine”) is a delicious marriage of Barbera (44%) and Primitivo (56%), two of our most popular Italian varietals. Aromas of marionberry, caramel and cola unveil layers of depth on the palate — cola, caramel, ripe plum, berry and a dash of pumpkin pie spec. This is a burger wine! Extra napkins, please!

Double Gold — 2023 SF Chronicle Wine Competition

Celebrate life by taking a sensory journey through the Rhone Valley with our Grenache-Syrah-Mourvédre blend (1/3 each). The best barrels of each of these wines were selected, then aged for 58 months in 100% New French Oak. The nose offers floral and fruity scents reminiscent of hibiscus and currants. Lush flavors of cherry and licorice are complemented by a graceful mouthfeel and a spicy/juicy finish. This elegant wine is gorgeously balanced with a nice tannin structure. Enjoy with THE classic GSM food pairing: Ribeye Steak.

Prior to the Renaissance, Barbera was known in Italy as “the people’s wine.” Today, Cooper Vineyards’ Barbera can still be regarded as “the people’s wine” because the people just love it! A big cherry nose with hints of vanilla and warm spice draws you in to a full, luscious, dark-chocolaty and satisfying mouthfeel. The lingering finish will have you longing for the next succulent sip. A meal of Grilled Beef Tri-Tip with Chinese Five Spice and our 2019 Barbera is certain to stimulate and captivate the palate.

The premium version of our Famous and Fabulous Barbera, this 2019 Riserva has THE most exquisite nose! An undeniably unique combination of caramel, smoky, apple and strawberry aromas are the perfect prelude to the complex cherry, chocolate and warm spice palate. Aged for 33-1/2 months in 100% New American Oak, this masterpiece finishes super smooth, super mellow and very rich! May we suggest Drunken Steak with Shiitake Mushrooms for your pairing pleasure.

Our late harvest Roussanne dessert wine doesn’t disappoint from beginning to end… from the soft peach color to the lovely aromas of pear and honeysuckle to the silken, dry finish. Delicious with a festive platter of dried apricots, blue cheese, dried cranberries, and Marcona almonds.

The nose on our 2019 Primitivo will, quite literally, knock your socks off! Rich boysenberry and cedar fragrances blossom into a delightful pomegranate, almond and cocoa core.
