Double Gold — 2023 SF Chronicle Wine Competition

Celebrate life by taking a sensory journey through the Rhone Valley with our Grenache-Syrah-Mourvédre blend (1/3 each). The best barrels of each of these wines were selected, then aged for 58 months in 100% New French Oak. The nose offers floral and fruity scents reminiscent of hibiscus and currants. Lush flavors of cherry and licorice are complemented by a graceful mouthfeel and a spicy/juicy finish. This elegant wine is gorgeously balanced with a nice tannin structure. Enjoy with THE classic GSM food pairing: Ribeye Steak.

Primitivo 2020


So much going on in this delightful Zinfandel cousin! Enticing notes of red fruit (currants and cherry), subtle violet, and vanilla are echoed on the palate with the addition of a soft cranberry tingle, light tannins and a charming spiciness on the finish. Warm, balanced and supple, our 2020 Primitivo is like drinking Christmas in a glass!

Mourvédre 2020


Multi-layered and fragrant, our 2020 Mourvédre is love at first whiff! Aromas of blueberry and cherry, white chocolate and black pepper, and hints of smoky leader, reveal sheer lusciousness. On the palate suggestions of fig and coffee dance and evolve into one delicious finish. Truly, a work of art… and pure pleasure.

Barbera Riserva 2020


The heady aromas of our 2020 Barbera Riserva are reminiscent of Fall… caramel candy popcorn, baking spices, wood smoke, damp leaves… all smells that bring a sense of joy and nostalgia. Together with autumn flavors — dried herbs, cherry, cinnamon, vanilla — this wine, with its silky smoothness, beautiful color, and velvet mouthfeel, ushers in a season of comfort and change.

Quintessentially Italian, our 2018 Sangiovese is both charmingly rustic and quietly elegant. A delicate floral bouquet with hints of warm spice, vanilla and cedar draws you in. On the palate, blackberry fruit flavors and melted milk chocolate notes hold your attention, then introduce a juicy, spicy, mouth-filling sensation. The final chapter: a smooth, dry and lingering finish. We’ve paired this Brunello-infused Sangiovese with simple fare– Ham Panini. But be adventurous!

When you think of summer’s fresh greens, juicy sweet tomatoes, grilled meats and vegetables, Sangiovese is undeniably the wine of choice. Soft, inviting and pleasurable, our latest release has medium tannins and a spicy, lingering finish.

On the palate, big cherry and pomegranate flavors integrate with rich cocoa resulting in a clean, warm and lasting finish.

Considered to be the most American of grapes, and California’s pride and joy, Zinfandel has the unconquerable spirit of the early settlers. Our 2020 Zinfandel is adventurous, displaying fresh notes of berries, anise, vintage leather and cedar shavings on the nose. That no-nonsense spirit segues to the palate where dark berry and sweet tobacco flavors usher in a balancing and spicy finish. This high-spirited 2020 Zin would happily pair with the bold flavors of Eggplant Parmesan or Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagna.
