Roussanne 2019

Delicately sweet with undertones of honey, caramel and herbal tea, our 2019 Roussanne is complex and provocative. A creamy, rich mouthfeel heralds soft citrus flavors and butter brioche. Dry and full-bodied, this distinctive wine finishes with a whisper of white pepper and a surprisingly pleasant acidity. Roussanne will taste incredible with lobster or crap cakes and creamy cheeses such as Brie.

From the brink of extinction, the Viognier grape is enjoying a renaissance. Our 2019 La Grande Viognier is a beautiful expression of this delicately fragranced varietal. Aromas of ripe apricot, vanilla and stone fruit lead the way to creamy and buttered honey flavors with hints of tangerine and baking spice on the finish. Serving this complex wine at 50-55 degrees will enhance the layered aromatic characteristics and rich flavors. Give it a try with your favorite Pad Thai!

Our 2020 vintage nods to its heritage with beautiful aromas of Herbs de Provence, mocha and the fresh, woodsy smell of leather. A rich purple hue draws you in to exploe this medium bodied gem with well-rounded tannins and a lingering crème brûlée finish. Considered to be the most American of grapes, and California’s pride and joy, Zinfandel has the unconquerable spirit of the early settlers. Our 2020 Zinfandel is adventurous, displaying fresh notes of berries, anise, vintage leather and cedar shavings on the nose. That no-nonsense spirit segues to the palate where dark berry and sweet tobacco flavors usher in a balancing and spicy finish. This high-spirited 2020 Zin would happily pair with the bold flavors of Eggplant Parmesan or Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagna.

The best barrels of each of these wines were selected, then aged for 58 months in 100% New French Oak. The nose offers floral and fruity scents reminiscent of hibiscus and currants. Lush flavors of cherry and licorice are complemented by a graceful mouthfeel and a spicy/juicy finish. This elegant wine is gorgeously balanced with a nice tannin structure.
