Our winemaker, Mike Roser, is all about balance and finesse. This second bottling of our elegant 2018 Classic Barbera is no exception. Blackberries, black licorice and cinnamon intermingle with spicy cloves and dark chocolate. A soft backbone of tannins leaves a mouthfeel that can only be described as “juicy”. Superbly balanced, this Barbera would be delightful paired with Moroccan Spiced Pork Tenderloin with a warm Cherry Compote.
Prohibition’s “darling” grape, Alicante Bouschet has come a long way! Beautifully complex, our latest iteration has notes of blackberry and caramel on the nose, and black currant and cinnamon on the palate. A full mouth feel and soft tannins round out this rare and unusual ready-to-drink black gold. Pair with deliciously marinated and tender Carne Asada.
